Make a website

An easy way to start yourself down the money making path is to create yourself a website. Whether it be a blog (like this one), a gaming website, or an online store, a simple website can generate you easy income just by putting ads on it. There are tons of sites that will make you a website for free. Here are few good ones:

Blogs
Blogger
Wordpress

Basic Websites
Webs
Wix

You can also use sites like fiverr or elance to find people who will make your website for you. It will be more professional and customized, put it comes at a cost. Fiverr will charge you $5, and elance can get into the hundreds or even thousands.

Traffic

Once you get your website off and running, keep posting on it and make sure that that the content is good. This will encourage visitors to come back or share their find. Perhaps you can use social media like Facebook or twitter to attract visitors. I suggest that you do not put ads on it until you build up your site views. An ad-less site will provide a more enjoyable experience for viewers and help kick start your site.

Ads

Google adsense is what most website owners use to put ads on their site. It's pay-per-click, so that's why high, consistent site views are mandatory to make any real money with it. You can get paid between 6 cents and $1 per click.

Hosting and Domains

The free website builders I've shown provide free hosting, which means that they'll put your files out their on the internet, but you'll notice that the URL includes the site's name in it somewhere. That's what a domain name is for. A domain name is what you see in the URL- like blogger.com or pepsi.com. You can make your own domain name if it is available, and it'll will make your site look very professional and easier to find. It does cost money, about $5-$10 a month, but it can be well worth it if you're making more than that with adsense.

Persistence

Like any other money making method, this won't make you thousands in a day or a week. It'll probably take you months before you build up a viewers base or any notable income. But if you give up within the first couple of weeks, you will end up making nothing. This is actually one of the hardest money making methods out there, but also one of the best, because it takes a while to get it going, but if you put the hard work in, it will make you consistent money month after month.

Good luck with this, and happy money making!
